Field Service Technician

Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in a window / door installation or service environment

Reports To: Service Manager

General Responsibility: Field Service work to repair / install / provide customer service for window and door issues.

Time Requirement: 40 hours per week with potential for overtime, availability Monday thru Friday and infrequent Saturdays

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Field Service repair of customer window and door issues.
  • Identify product and repair parts needed to correct customer concerns
  • Adjust doors and windows for proper operation
  • Paint and stain touch ups as required
  • Casing and trim installation

Skills and Attributes:

  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
  • Excellent service skills to satisfy customer concerns
  • Mechanical aptitude to diagnose and problem solve
